One year on from when Trafford Council announced the proposals for the Trafford Civic Quarter Masterplan, the council have now released details of a proposed masterplan for one part of that scheme for consultation. Continue reading “Former Kellogg’s Site Masterplan”
Well, what a difference a year makes. This time in 2017 we were in the middle of the highly divisive UA92 and Refreshed Stretford Masterplan consultation. Since then, the 2018 local elections brought a change of executive at Trafford Council, plans for Turn Moss were scrapped and we’ve started to see a different approach from the council in regards to development in Stretford.
I’ve previously covered the issues on Davyhulme Road East and the proposed junction improvements from Trafford Council in the post Davyhulme Road East, a collision waiting to happen.

As I’ve covered in some recent posts, Trafford Council have published a refreshed masterplan for Stretford, based predominantly around the UA92 proposals. They’ve been consulting residents about these proposals, having hosted a number of sessions with locals. They also have an online questionnaire for people to give their views, deadline is 19 December 2017. Continue reading “A tale of two masterplans”
News of the UA92 scheme and refreshed masterplan came out of the blue, when they were announced in September. And they’ve received a fair amount of media attention, no doubt helped by the involvement of Gary Neville and Class of 92. Continue reading “What does the Stretford Public Realm scheme tells us about Trafford Council’s intentions for UA92?”
Trafford are asking for responses to the revised masterplan for Stretford and the elements within it, via an online questionnaire. There’s also an offline version that can be downloaded and filled out. The deadline for responses is 19 December 2017. Continue reading “My response to the revised Stretford Masterplan”
