Manchester Critical Mass – February 2019

Well, I have to say it’s been a while since I’d been to Critical Mass. Not since the Halloween Critical Mass last October, to be precise. Given it’s only a few weeks since it was pretty cold, February Critical Mass brought t-shirt weather. Well, for me anyway.

While balmy February temperatures make for a pleasant Critical Mass, it doesn’t bode well for our continuing screwing up of the planet. Though at least cycling is part of the solution.

There was a pretty good turnout, considering it was February, though no doubt helped by the weather. February’s ride took us into the Northern Quarter, through Piccadilly and Portland Street, through Albert Square and down Deansgate. We passed over the horseshoe bridge into Hulme, stopped briefly at The Old Abbey Taphouse, before finishing at Sandbar.

Another lovely Critical Mass, though a bit aggro towards the end 🙂
