Setting off after sheltering under the town hall extension

After a glorious day of sunshine, the weather turned just in time, with the skies opening up for a deluge. Despite the rain, a few people turned up and headed for shelter under the town hall extension while we waited to set off.

Leaving Albert Square onto Southmill Street

We headed down Lloyd Street as usual, trying to avoid the Christmas Market crowds. We then briefly passed Albert Square, before turning off onto Southmill Street.

We took a right onto Peter Street and carried on until we reached Deansgate. We then turned left onto Deansgate and carried on until we reached Great Bridgewater Street.

Passing through the tunnels under Manchester Central, we crossed over the lights at Lower Mosley Street and carried on until we reached Rain Bar, where everyone decided to call it a day.
